Alan Yost will conduct the Concord Chamber Ensemble and Chorus in a concert performance of Gilbert and Sullivan's Trial by Jury. Also on the program is the Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 by J.S. Bach. On a lighter note, the ensemble will perform three satirical pieces by P.D.Q. Bach (aka Peter Schickele). They include a comical cantata, Iphigenia in Brooklyn; a madrigal, "My Bonnie Lass She Smelleth; and the Schleptet in E-flat Major." Tickets are $25, with proceeds supporting the operating expenses of the Concord Orchestra.

October at Verrill Farm The pick-your-own pumpkin field will be open every weekend in October, from Saturday the 6th through Sunday the 28th.
